Chemistry as the studies about matter
Posted by admin on April 17, 2008Chemistry is a quite old science which describes different kinds of substances. The origins of today's chemistry have come from the old times. It used to be called alchemy - there were the attempts to transform iron into gold. Nowadays chemistry simply scrutinizes the ingredients of different matters, their molecular levels and the processes that occur while different substances are being mixed. What is more, chemistry as a science is concerned with proposing a description for the aforesaid processes in the form of a law. Chemistry cooperates quite closely with biology and physics.
That science is divided into inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, physical chemistry and lots of other more specific fields.
